countin on the flowers on the wall...that don't bother me at all
So.
My boss kinda gave me bad news last night.
Obviously, libraries somehow work on the support of the people, and levies to get funding, ect ect. Well, since we didn't get one this year, so branches are slowly closing due to lack of funds. I think this is mostly the smaller ones--Xenia and YS have a high patron count--but that doesn't mean we're safe at all.
So what does this mean?
well, obviously, no money, no way to pay the workers. And I swear I know i'll be the first on the chopping block. It makes me sad, because as much as I bitch and moan about my job, I really do like it, and it pays me a good amt of money for easy work.
Think it's time to dust off the good ol' resume and update it a bit...just in case.
