Hello everyone!!!

T'was a doctor day (REGULAR!) just to check up on how i've done with all these bloody tests. I currently had one for my spleen and liver, just to check up and see if it isn't my liver causing the problems, or if it's my silly big old spleen which can be taken out with much fuss. Oh joy.

Anyways, I lost 10 pounds since going to the docs, so yay!! I am currently 193, and am closer to my goal of being 185-170. I just have to keep eating more good foods and such. This afternoon I had both a veggie medley that was good, and a fruit salad that was to DIE for (it has raspberries!).

It was pretty manditory. Her cute student assistant asked me all sorts of questions, I explained things, ect. Then she came in and rehashed, and basically she refilled my meds. I also got a blood sugar reader, just to check my sugars and see how i'm handling them. Very cool? I don't know. i'm not looking forward to pricking myself. :P

Otherwise, i'm dealing with school things. I have a three page paper due soon. :( Like, tomorrow. urgh. I'm done with this quarter, someone take me off, please?

Oh dear. I'm sorry. I've been rambling too much. Here. here's some Captain jack for you. He's been visiting the doctor! Which makes Inato jealous!

Within the hour I have

-Vaccumed my floor.
-Cleaned out some books I didn't want, and add new ones that could fit.
-Dusted my room
-Changed my sheets (To nice warm flannel ones!)

jeez, I went through a nesting fit there.

bur my room smells so good (clean!!) and now I can hang out here without freaking about dirt and such on my floor.

I don't think i've posted, but I got the results to my bone marrow biopsy, and it was completely normal, so no lukemia, bone marrow diseases, ect. I was so glad for that. I don't think I could have handled having some kind of terminal disease. Then again, who could?

I gave my Doc, Doctor Calvo, a hug, telling him he just made me a happy girl.

He did say my spleen is enlarged. A normal spleen is 12 cm, mine was 23cm so he's going to look at this, and my liver, just to make sure this isn't anything wrong with it. Otherwise, he thinks because of my turners i've always had these numbers. I'm going to have an atomic tracer go through my body, and any abnormalities will be shown. One more test. I'm hoping this is the last of them. by god, I will no longer be poked, prodded, drawn from, or scanned.

I go back to my usual doctor sometime later, and this thursday I go to the DENTIST so he can check on my gums. Argh. Not looking foreward to it.

THAT'S ENOUGH FOR MEDICAL STUFF.

Long story short: I'm healthy, i'm not dying. Yay!!

NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS.

I'm going to be getting an early copy of Anton's band, The Hammerheads actual studio recordings. They're giving away copies, so I sent them an e-mail, telling them that i'd love a copy and to keep up the good work.

I, however, did not tell them to tell anton that I think he's an ass for cutting his hair, and even though I think he is, i'd still hit that with the fury of an incan god who eats hearts and sets them on fire or something. KALI MA.

Went to see Saw VI today.

Well, everyone, i'm back from the fray.

I slept in a little longer than I should have, but I was ready by the time mom came and picked me up. We headed on our way, and with me as the navigator, we made to the hospital. Which, actually, was pretty old and had really funky tiling. I really liked it, although the old-ness of it made me kinda freaked. But I knew I was going to be in good hands.

when we got to the offices, I was whisked away to the lab to do a sugar level. Thankfully, it wasn't high at all. However, the woman who pricked me didn't give me a heads up! I hate that.

I went to the lobby to wait, and we ran into a really nice woman whose husband runs a really shop here in town. Apparently he has cancer, and he was in for chemo. The really nice thing, though, was they had internet desktop kind of things, so I looked up some happy stuff while I waited. It was about a 30 min wait, and I went into the room to get prepped, which means basically laying on my right side and pulling down my pants. :<

My parents were allowed in, but I didn't pay much attention. I was too busy watching the traffic through the window I was facing going by.

Dr Calvo came in with his attending, and they started prep. They found a place to get a sample, marked it, and soon they spread idodine on the spot where they were going to do the proceedure. Dr Calvo showed me the needle that was going to inject me with Lidocane. "It's going to burn," he warned me, and as he injected it, I closed my eyes tight, because HOLY SHIT YES IT DID BURN. AAHH. But once it settled in, I was nice and numb. He then put novacane in the same place to numb it even more. I couldn't feel shit. It was awesome.

BUT THEN.

"We're going to go deeper now, and put some novacane into the bone."

OH SWEET MERCIFUL JESUS. Ok, so it didn't hurt so much, but the initial prick hurt like motherfucking shit. But then I was lovingly numb. It was kinda cool though, because he had to tap a little, and I could feel it in my hips, but it didn't hurt. It was awesome, from a medical standpoint. I still can't feel shit when I touch the area. He then showed me the biopsy needle, and I audibly gasped. "Don't worry, you won't feel a thing!"

And I didn't, once he got into the bones.

He told me now he had to take the sample, and no lying, it was going to hurt.

OH GOD.

It's a feeling that you can't really explain unless you've had the experience myself. It was like my bones were SUCKED like a straw, you know? It wasn't a pleasant experience, and I started crying, but was perfectly still.

Thankdfully, he had to do it only once, although they had to coax a bit from the needle, and had to wiggle it out. I had giggled, because the way he wiggled my bones kinda ticked, for some odd reason. WTF?

He bandaged me up, and I had to lay there on a rolled up towel, to stop any bleeding.

And it was done.

So, overall, not the best times, but not exactly as scarring as I thought it was going to be.

Now my back is a bit sore, so i'm going to take an advil, and lay down.
